If We Were Villains week 1

Lights, Camera, Action!

Good afternoon all! I hope this email finds you well. As I’m sure most of you are aware, in this week’s meeting we are discussing up until the end of Act I (page 79 I think?) of If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio. In case you are new here from the clubs expo, welcome! We are thrilled to have you. We will be reading at a pace of 1 act per week (approximately 80-ish pages) and will discuss our thoughts at our meetings which are happening on Wednesdays at 5:30 PM in the Gallery which is on the second floor of Wyckham house. Hope to see you at some of the meetings this term!

Last week’s meeting

I also just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came to the initial meeting last week. It was super fun—and surprisingly competitive—but I was just excited to see all the cool bookmarks everyone made! And if you couldn’t make it last week, don’t worry, we haven’t started discussing the book yet, so you have until tomorrow evening to catch up if you want to! (Honestly you don’t even have to have read the book to come, its just fun to hang out with the club!)

Clubs Expo

Also a big thanks to everyone who came by the booth at the clubs expo last week. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to be there very long so I didn’t get the chance to meet everyone but it seems like it was a success as I added a whole extra page of names to the subscribers list. (And extra thanks to all of the other execs who were running the booth!)
