Today’s Meeting (Location change!)

That’s right you heard it hear first folks, today’s meeting will NOT be taking place in the gallery, and instead will be occurring in the… wait for it… COUNCIL CHAMBERS… (Cue dramatic flash, maybe a gong hit). Also located on the second floor of Wyckham house, “This highly configurable multi-purpose space features stunning thirty foot ceilings and panoramic views with abundant natural light.” See below for details on how to get there.

Election night

Speaking of the location mix-up, you can thank the old co-pres for that one, she’s so ashamed that she has rightfully decided to step down from her position. Which means that it is up for grabs! An assortment of new faces will be running for many executive positions. But who will elect them. Well dear reader, that would be you of course. If you haven’t already, please let us know if you are unable to make it to the meeting today so we can send you the “Mail-in” (Google Form) ballot! Following our regularly scheduled meeting, the votes will be counted and a new team of execs will be elected. Note: Regardless of the winner, I promise not to lead an insurrection.

In all seriousness, a huge thanks to all the execs who made Book Club so awesome year, and a very special thanks to those of them that are graduating this year, and have contributed so much to the club over their time at MRU! (Hold for applause.)

So get out and vote! This might be the only election where your vote actually counts! (Just kidding of course, you should always vote when you can!)

Oh right, also, we will be discussing the end of Circe, so, if you happen to be apolitical, you can still come for that! I don’t have any particular discussion questions for you today, just bring whatever your heart desires.
